About Anja Badri-Parker
Who I am and what I do

Teaching Assistant
I am currently working in an all-through SEND school in England. I began working there around 3 years ago as a Teaching Assistant, and I've taken on greater responsibilities over time such as Literacy Assistant and Online Safety Co-ordinator.

As of May 2024, I am now a certified Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) who specialises in the planning and delivery of computing lessons across KS2, KS3, and post-16 classes.

Online Safety Co-ordinator
I handle the vast majority of online safety concerns across my school whether they're raised by staff, parents, or students. As part of the response to these concerns, I meet with members of the school's senior leadership team to determine solutions that effectively meet the particular needs of our pupils.

I am also a trained CEOP Ambassador for my school and I have recently begun delivering online safety training to staff members. Find out more about CEOP on their website:

Gamer
When I'm not engaging with work I spend a fair amount of my personal time playing video games. My familiarity with the online gaming world has proven to be a valuable asset, enabling me to confidently assess and resolve online safety concerns within that digital space and to empathise more closely with those impacted by negative online interactions.

I typically favour fantasy RPGs (role-playing games) where you can create your own characters such as Final Fantasy XIV Online, as well as turn-based strategy games like Hearthstone. In more recent times, I have been exploring other genres too: rouge-like games such as Hades 2 and action/adventure games like Star Wars Jedi: Survivor.
